Since opening our doors in 2016, we have poured countless pints at our three taprooms, shared our beers with fans across the Northeast, and showcased our work at festivals across the country and internationally. Our first beers were poured in our downtown Westbrook taproom, with a dedicated brewing facility and two more taprooms following in Freeport and South Portland.

The mission of Definitive Brewing Company is to offer a superb experience for its guests through its large collection of brews. They feature a wide variety of products including IPAs, sours, stouts, and real fruited hard seltzers, along with more traditional styles. Its operators do everything in their power to deliver the best beers and most enjoyable drinking experience possible.

We're a Certified B Corp founded in Portland, Maine, by James Beard Award-winner Rob Tod. Since 1995, our brewery has been dedicated to crafting the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world, all while giving back to the community that has supported us along the way.
