Their staff provide intensive, individualized instruction in numerous subjects that engages the child in the learning process and builds confidence they can take back to school with them. The center offers a free consultation so families can be sure it is the right fit for their child.

Maine Electrical Institute is a trade school that focuses on providing only the courses relevant to becoming an electrician. It has in-person training with labs and classes that run from September through June in a 3,500-square-foot training area. MEI offers a self-paced correspondence program that satisfies the schooling requirements for licensure and graduation for those who cannot make it to the Portland location.
